Last Updated: 15 October 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Urban Service Club, a technology-enabled home services platform designed to connect customers with suitable service professionals for convenient, transparent, and reliable household and property maintenance services. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Urban Service Club website, mobile applications, booking systems, customer support channels, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing the Platform, creating an account, requesting a service, confirming a booking, or using any feature offered through Urban Service Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, together with our applicable Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and other service-specific policies. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable Indian law.
2. About Urban Service Club
Urban Service Club operates a home services marketplace and service coordination platform through which customers may discover, compare, schedule, and obtain services from eligible service professionals. Depending on the service category, Urban Service Club may facilitate service delivery through independently engaged technicians, third-party service providers, authorized partners, or personnel directly engaged by the business.
Our Platform may support services such as:
Air conditioner installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair.
Electrical installation, inspection, and repair.
Plumbing and sanitary maintenance.
Home cleaning and deep cleaning.
Pest control and preventive treatment.
Appliance servicing and repair.
Carpentry, furniture assembly, and maintenance.
Painting, renovation, and property maintenance.
Other household, commercial, or property-related services made available on the Platform.
The availability, scope, pricing, eligibility, and delivery conditions of individual services may vary by location, category, technician availability, and operational requirements.
Listing a service does not guarantee its availability at every address or at every requested time.
3. Eligibility to Use the Platform
Customers must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law.
By using the Platform, you confirm that:
The information you provide is accurate and current.
You have the authority to request services at the specified property.
You will use the Platform for lawful purposes.
You will comply with these Terms and applicable service instructions.
You will not misuse Platform features or interfere with other users, technicians, or service operations.
A person booking services on behalf of a property owner, tenant, employer, or another individual must have appropriate authorization. Urban Service Club may request reasonable additional information where necessary to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, or deliver services safely.
4. Customer Account Registration and Security
Certain Platform features may require account registration or mobile number verification.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact details, protecting account credentials, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You must not impersonate another person, register fraudulent accounts, submit misleading booking information, or knowingly allow unauthorized use of your account. Urban Service Club may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse, security incidents, or violations of these Terms.
Any such action will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
5. Service Availability and Coverage Areas
Urban Service Club may operate in selected cities, neighborhoods, postal codes, and service zones.
Service availability depends on factors including:
Customer location and serviceability.
Type and complexity of the requested service.
Availability of qualified technicians.
Working hours and appointment schedules.
Weather, traffic, and local operating conditions.
Required tools, materials, and equipment.
Applicable safety or regulatory restrictions.
The Platform may decline, reschedule, or modify a booking when a requested service cannot reasonably be delivered. Where an accepted booking cannot be fulfilled, customers will be informed through available communication channels and offered an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.
6. Service Booking and Confirmation
Customers may request services through the website, mobile application, or other officially supported booking channels.
A booking request may include:
Selected service and service category.
Customer name and contact details.
Complete service address.
Preferred appointment date and time.
Description of the problem or requested work.
Relevant photographs or additional instructions.
Estimated service price or applicable inspection charge.
Submitting a booking request does not always constitute final confirmation.
A booking is considered confirmed when Urban Service Club communicates confirmation through the Platform, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or another authorized channel. Booking confirmation remains subject to applicable service conditions, including the accuracy of the information supplied by the customer.
7. Appointment Scheduling and Technician Arrival
Customers may select available appointment slots displayed on the Platform. Appointment times are estimates based on scheduling capacity and prevailing operating conditions. Reasonable delays may occur due to traffic, weather, previous service appointments, technical difficulties, or other unforeseen circumstances. Urban Service Club will endeavor to communicate material scheduling changes. Customers are requested to remain reachable and ensure that the service location is accessible during the confirmed appointment window. If the customer is unavailable or the technician cannot obtain safe access to the premises, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.
8. Technician Assignment and Verification
Urban Service Club may assign service professionals based on service category, relevant skills, service area, availability, experience, customer requirements, and operational considerations. Technicians may be subject to onboarding procedures such as identity verification, document review, skill assessment, training, and administrative approval. Verification measures are intended to support service quality and customer confidence. However, verification does not constitute a guarantee against every possible error, misconduct, or service-related risk.
Where operationally necessary, Urban Service Club may replace an assigned technician with another suitable professional. Customers should verify the technician's booking details or identification through the Platform where such functionality is available.
Customers should report any suspicious identity discrepancy before allowing service work to proceed.
9. Service Scope and Work Authorization
The scope of each service is determined by its published description, inclusions, exclusions, and any additional work expressly agreed upon before execution. A standard service may not include unrelated repairs, replacement components, extensive dismantling, structural modifications, or additional labor unless specifically stated.
If a technician identifies additional work during inspection, the customer should receive an explanation and applicable additional charges before that work begins.
No additional paid work should be performed without the customer's informed authorization.
Customers may decline additional work. Where the original service cannot reasonably proceed without it, the parties may discuss an alternative or apply the relevant inspection, cancellation, or refund terms.
10. Service Pricing and Estimates
Urban Service Club aims to provide clear and understandable pricing.
Depending on the service, prices may be:
Fixed service prices.
Inspection or visiting charges.
Labor-only charges.
Service packages.
Quantity-based charges.
Custom quotations.
Prices that include or exclude materials, as clearly disclosed.
Displayed prices may vary according to the selected service, property conditions, quantity, location, applicable taxes, and additional approved requirements.
An estimate is not necessarily a final quotation where the actual condition of the appliance, installation, or property cannot be determined without inspection. Any material change in price must be communicated to the customer for approval before the additional chargeable work is performed. Applicable taxes and other mandatory charges will be disclosed in accordance with law.
11. Inspection and Visiting Charges
Certain services may require an initial inspection, diagnostic visit, or technician assessment. An inspection or visiting charge may apply where disclosed before booking. Such charges may cover the technician's visit, time, initial diagnosis, and assessment rather than the cost of completing the repair.
Whether an inspection fee is adjusted against a subsequent repair, refundable, or separately payable will depend on the specific terms disclosed for that service. Customers should review the applicable charge before confirming the booking.
12. Payments and Billing
Urban Service Club may support payment methods such as UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, approved payment gateways, or other officially authorized methods. Cash payments may be permitted only where the Platform expressly supports them.
Customers should make payments through the authorized payment process specified in the booking. The final payable amount may include the approved service charge, authorized additional work, materials, applicable taxes, and any disclosed fees. Customers should retain payment confirmations, invoices, and booking references for future assistance.
Payment failures, duplicate transactions, and billing discrepancies should be reported promptly through official support channels. Where a refund is approved, it will be processed through the applicable payment mechanism, subject to payment-provider processing timelines.
13. Additional Work and Material Costs
Certain services may require replacement parts, consumables, chemicals, fittings, accessories, or other materials. Unless specifically included in the service package, these items may be charged separately.
Before purchasing or installing additional materials, the technician or service representative should communicate the nature of the requirement and the applicable price. Customers should be informed whether materials are supplied by Urban Service Club, the technician, an authorized vendor, or the customer.
Manufacturer warranties on replacement parts, where available, remain subject to the manufacturer's applicable terms. Customers should not be charged for unauthorized additional work.
14. Customer-Initiated Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation through the available Platform features or official support channels.
The applicable cancellation conditions may depend on:
The time remaining before the appointment.
Whether a technician has already been assigned or dispatched.
Whether the technician has reached the service location.
Whether inspection or service work has begun.
Whether specifically authorized materials have been purchased.
Any service-specific cancellation terms disclosed before booking.
Any cancellation charge must be reasonably related to the applicable disclosed policy and must comply with consumer protection requirements. Customers will be informed of any applicable charge or refund eligibility. Urban Service Club will not impose undisclosed or unlawful cancellation penalties.
15. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Urban Service Club
Urban Service Club may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to circumstances such as:
Technician unavailability.
Serviceability limitations.
Unsafe working conditions.
Incorrect or incomplete booking details.
Technical or operational disruptions.
Severe weather or other events beyond reasonable control.
Where possible, the customer will be offered an alternative appointment.
If Urban Service Club cannot deliver a prepaid service and no acceptable alternative is agreed upon, the customer will be eligible for an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the booking.
16. Refund Policy
Refund requests will be assessed fairly based on the service status, payment records, disclosed service terms, and applicable consumer rights.
Refunds may be appropriate where:
A prepaid service was not delivered.
A confirmed booking was cancelled by the Platform and no suitable alternative was accepted.
A duplicate or incorrect payment was collected.
A billing error is verified.
A refund is required under applicable law.
Another refund condition expressly disclosed for the relevant service is satisfied.
Where a service has been partially performed, the amount payable or refundable will be assessed according to the work actually completed, agreed charges, and applicable legal obligations. Refund requests should include the booking reference, payment details, and a description of the issue.
Approved refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method where technically possible. The actual credit date may depend on the payment provider, bank, and payment method. Nothing in this section limits a customer's statutory remedies for deficient services or unfair trade practices.
17. Service Quality and Professional Standards
Urban Service Club aims to maintain professional service standards through appropriate operational processes.
Service professionals are expected to:
Behave respectfully and professionally.
Perform only work they are competent and authorized to undertake.
Follow applicable safety procedures.
Explain relevant service findings.
Seek approval before additional chargeable work.
Exercise reasonable care with customer property.
Avoid unnecessary damage or disruption.
Maintain appropriate cleanliness.
Report incidents and material service issues.
Where applicable, technicians may be required to follow service-specific standard operating procedures and provide work completion information. Service quality concerns may be reported through official customer support.
18. Service Warranty and Workmanship Support
Certain services may include a limited workmanship warranty or post-service support period.
Warranty eligibility, duration, coverage, and exclusions are determined by the terms disclosed for the specific service at the time of booking.
Not every service includes the same warranty, and some services may not include a workmanship warranty. Where a service warranty applies, customers may be eligible for inspection, corrective work, or another appropriate remedy for a qualifying workmanship issue.
Warranty coverage may exclude problems caused by unrelated faults, misuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, pre-existing defects, or other exclusions clearly disclosed in the relevant warranty terms, subject to applicable law. A manufacturer's warranty on a product or replacement component is separate from any workmanship warranty offered in connection with the service.
Warranty claims should include the booking reference, description of the issue, and relevant supporting evidence. Nothing in a limited service warranty overrides statutory consumer rights.
19. Complaints, Rework, and Dispute Resolution
Customer satisfaction and fair complaint handling are important to Urban Service Club.
Customers may report concerns relating to:
Incomplete or unsatisfactory service.
Incorrect billing.
Technician behavior.
Delayed appointments.
Property damage.
Warranty claims.
Unauthorized additional charges.
Refund delays.
Safety incidents.
Complaints should be submitted through the official customer support or grievance channel.
Urban Service Club may request relevant photographs, invoices, booking details, and an explanation of the concern. Depending on the circumstances, resolution may include clarification, further inspection, corrective service, adjustment of charges, refund, or another lawful remedy. Customers should cooperate reasonably with the investigation. Where a complaint cannot be resolved internally, customers retain their rights to approach competent consumer authorities or courts under applicable law.
20. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
Provide accurate booking and address information.
Explain the service requirement as clearly as possible.
Ensure lawful access to the property.
Provide a reasonably safe working environment.
Disclose known hazards or relevant property conditions.
Keep children and pets away from hazardous work areas where necessary.
Secure valuables and sensitive personal belongings.
Approve or decline additional work before execution.
Make payments for properly authorized charges.
Treat service professionals respectfully.
Customers must not request illegal, unsafe, discriminatory, or unauthorized work.
Where customer-provided information is materially inaccurate or conditions are unsafe, service delivery may be delayed, modified, or discontinued.
21. Safety and Property Protection
Urban Service Club encourages safe working practices for electrical, plumbing, appliance, cleaning, pest control, and other home services. Customers must inform technicians of known electrical faults, gas leaks, structural hazards, hazardous materials, or other relevant risks.
Technicians may refuse or suspend work where continuing would create an unreasonable safety risk. Customers should not interfere with technical work or operate equipment against safety instructions. For urgent situations involving fire, gas leakage, severe electrical hazards, medical emergencies, or immediate danger, customers should contact the appropriate emergency service rather than relying on a routine Platform booking.
22. Property Damage and Incident Reporting
Service professionals are expected to exercise reasonable care while working at customer premises.
If damage or another incident occurs during service delivery, customers should report it promptly with available supporting information. Urban Service Club may review booking records, technician reports, photographs, and other relevant evidence.
Responsibility for loss or damage will be determined according to the facts, applicable contractual obligations, and governing law. The Platform does not automatically accept responsibility for every pre-existing defect, unrelated failure, or event beyond its reasonable control. However, no provision in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
23. Customer Privacy and Personal Information
Urban Service Club may collect and process personal information reasonably necessary to provide Platform services.
Such information may include:
Customer name and contact details.
Booking and service address.
Service history.
Payment and transaction information.
Customer communications.
Service-related photographs.
Location information where permission is provided and required for an applicable feature.
Personal information may be used for account management, booking fulfillment, technician coordination, payments, support, fraud prevention, service quality, and other purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with assigned service professionals, payment processors, technology providers, and other relevant parties where necessary and lawful. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Indian data protection requirements and the published Privacy Policy.
Customers should review the Privacy Policy for details of applicable rights, retention, safeguards, and grievance procedures.
24. Service Photographs and Work Documentation
For certain services, technicians may be required to capture before-service, during-service, or after-service photographs to document work conditions and completion. Such documentation may support quality assurance, customer complaints, warranty evaluation, and operational records. Photographs should be relevant to the service and collected in a manner consistent with applicable privacy requirements.
Customers should avoid including unrelated personal documents, private information, or sensitive areas in service photographs wherever reasonably possible. Any optional use of service images for advertising or promotional purposes will require an appropriate lawful basis and any necessary consent.
25. Technician Location and Service Tracking
Where available, the Platform may provide technician assignment updates, estimated arrival information, and service progress tracking. Location tracking depends on device permissions, network connectivity, system availability, and the relevant service workflow.
Estimated arrival information may change due to traffic, route conditions, or operational delays. Tracking information is intended for service coordination and convenience and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed arrival time. Location data will be handled according to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
26. Communication and Service Notifications
Urban Service Club may communicate with customers through telephone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, in-app notifications, or other authorized channels.
Operational communications may include:
Booking confirmation.
Appointment reminders.
Technician assignment.
Arrival and service updates.
Payment confirmation.
Cancellation or rescheduling.
Complaint and warranty updates.
Important account or safety notifications.
Marketing communications, where used, will be subject to applicable consent and communication requirements. Customers should keep their contact information accurate and review relevant booking notifications.
27. Ratings, Reviews, and Customer Feedback
Customers may be invited to rate completed services or submit feedback. Reviews should be honest, relevant, and based on genuine service experiences. Users must not submit defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading content. Urban Service Club may moderate or remove content that violates applicable law or reasonable Platform guidelines. Customer feedback may be used to improve service quality, identify operational issues, and evaluate technician performance.
28. Offers, Discounts, Coupons, and Promotions
Urban Service Club may introduce promotional offers, discount codes, referral benefits, or special pricing from time to time.
Promotional benefits may be subject to:
Eligibility criteria.
Validity periods.
Service restrictions.
Minimum booking values.
Geographic availability.
Usage limits.
Other clearly disclosed conditions.
Offers may not be combined unless expressly permitted.
Promotional terms will be disclosed where relevant, and any modification or withdrawal will be subject to applicable law and commitments already made to customers.
29. Memberships and Subscription Services
Urban Service Club may introduce membership or subscription programs offering eligible customers specified benefits. Such programs may include service discounts, priority scheduling, periodic maintenance, or other features.
Membership fees, validity periods, included benefits, exclusions, renewal arrangements, cancellation conditions, and refund eligibility will be governed by the specific membership terms presented before purchase. Unless expressly disclosed and accepted, purchasing an ordinary service does not automatically enroll a customer in a paid recurring subscription.
30. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
Create fraudulent bookings.
Provide false identity or payment information.
Harass, threaten, or abuse service professionals.
Attempt unauthorized access to Platform systems.
Interfere with bookings or payment processing.
Upload malicious software or harmful content.
Misuse another person's personal information.
Request unlawful services.
Circumvent applicable Platform rules through fraudulent conduct.
Engage in conduct that endangers customers, technicians, or other persons.
Urban Service Club may investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action, including restricting access or reporting unlawful activity to competent authorities where appropriate.
31. Platform Availability and Technical Interruptions
Urban Service Club aims to maintain a reliable website, mobile application, and booking system. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, hosting issues, payment gateway disruptions, internet connectivity, or events beyond reasonable control. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free technical availability. Where a technical issue affects a booking or payment, Urban Service Club will endeavor to provide reasonable assistance and any remedies required by applicable law.
32. Intellectual Property Rights
The Urban Service Club name, branding, website design, software, graphics, original written content, and other proprietary materials may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized, users must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or misuse protected Platform materials. Customer access to the Platform does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
33. Third-Party Services and External Links
The Platform may integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, maps, messaging systems, identity verification providers, and other technology solutions. These providers may have their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Urban Service Club is not responsible for unrelated third-party websites or services outside its control, except to the extent responsibility arises under applicable law. Customers should review relevant third-party terms where appropriate.
34. Limitation of Liability
Urban Service Club will take reasonable steps to facilitate services and address legitimate customer concerns. However, service outcomes may depend on factors such as the condition of existing equipment, property infrastructure, availability of replacement parts, customer instructions, and the nature of the requested work. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Urban Service Club will not be responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by unrelated pre-existing defects.
Any contractual limitation of liability will be interpreted in accordance with applicable Indian law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
35. Force Majeure
Urban Service Club will not be treated as having breached a service obligation solely because performance is prevented or materially delayed by events beyond reasonable control, subject to applicable law. Such events may include natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, major transport disruptions, widespread utility failures, civil disturbances, or other extraordinary circumstances.
Where reasonably possible, affected customers will be informed and offered rescheduling or an appropriate resolution. Payment and refund obligations will continue to be governed by applicable law and the circumstances of the affected service.
36. Suspension or Termination of Platform Access
Urban Service Club may suspend or restrict Platform access where reasonably necessary due to serious violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, security risks, or unlawful activity. Where appropriate and practicable, the customer may be informed of the reason for the restriction.
Termination of Platform access does not automatically extinguish outstanding payment obligations, valid refund claims, existing warranty rights, or other legal obligations.
37. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Urban Service Club may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, Platform functionality, operational policies, legal requirements, or business practices. The updated version will display its effective or last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law. Changes will not retroactively remove rights or remedies that have already accrued under applicable law.
Customers are encouraged to review the latest Terms before making new bookings.
38. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India.
Disputes may be brought before courts or competent authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.Nothing in these Terms limits the customer's right to approach a competent Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or another statutory authority where permitted by law.
39. Consumer Rights and Fair Business Practices
Urban Service Club is committed to transparency, fair dealing, and responsible service coordination.
Customers are entitled to applicable statutory protections, including rights relating to accurate information, fair pricing, deficient services, unfair trade practices, and lawful complaint resolution. Any provision of these Terms that conflicts with a mandatory statutory protection will apply only to the extent legally permissible.
If a particular provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.
